Thai Rural Life Part 2

Thai culture and people life in rural area are related to agriculture especially rice farming. Farmers are one of the most important people in Thailand. Most of Thai people eat rice as main dish.


People in countryside live as big family so there are about +10 people each family. Moreover, they live as villages so they help each other to grow the rice and farm plants. For this reason, they have really a good relationship among each other. They really care about each people and always help other people.

Water buffalos are the mascot of Thai farmer. They help farmers to dig the earth in fields so rice seeds can be planted and they also are the good friends with children.

People in country side have the relationship between themselves and water resources as lakes and rivers for entire of their life because of the agriculture life. Children swim in the river and splash water to their friend. People transfer water to the gardens and rice farms. You can see the green rice farms from May to August in many parts of Thailand because this is rainy season.

Tak-Bath

Buddhist people have a relationship between their life and Buddhism all their life. I just took photos about life of Buddhist people.

Tak-Bath (Thai word) is the way to give food offerings to Buddhist monks. Buddhists normally do "Tak-Bath" frequently because this is the way to support Buddhist monks and Buddhism. Moreover, they do believe that the food that they offer to monks will be distributed to the passed away relatives too. Tak-Bath normally does in the morning. Buddhist monks come from temples and walk into villages in order to get Tak-Bath food from People. People will offer food to the monks and get blessing from the monks.

Top Model In Boutique Shop

She is a staff in a boutique shop (but I can not remember what the shop name is). She is very nice and allows me to take her photo. Moreover, capturing the people life will make you understand how people think, live, do, etc. I like this photo even though the lighting is not good.

My Gallery - Waitng for Cable Car

“San Francisco cable car” is one of interesting places in San Francisco. My friend recommended that this is the must in San Francisco. I was pretty lucky because it was a sunny day (the day before was so cloudy). I carried a lot of stuff with me as my tripod, my digital camera bag, etc so it sometimes was not comfortable while taking the cable car with so crowed people. Anyway I can make it : )
